Baking: Line an oven tray with butter paper / parchment paper and place the shish barak evenly on the lined tray. Spray with a fine coating of olive oil or good quality vegetable oil. Place into a preheated oven (170°C) and bake for approximately 20-25 minutes or until golden in color.
Frying: Fill a pan with sufficient oil (corn oil, canola oil, sunflower oil) and heat until temperature reaches no more than 180°C (356°F) and slowly lower each piece into the oil (do not drop or overfill) and fry until golden brown
