Cooking Instructions
Stove: Place harees in a heavy bottomed pan/pot. add a small amount of water, chicken stock or milk (approx. 2-3 tablespoons) to keep harees moist & to prevent drying (Note: liquid may increase proportionate to amount of harees being reheated). heat over low to medium heat, stirring occasionally to ensure even heating. cook for approximately 5 to 10 minutes or until heated through. If it starts to thicken in the heat process add a bit more liquid/stock/milk to reach your desired consistency. Once heated through, serve.
Oven: Preheat oven – 150ºC (300ºF). Place thawed harees in an oven proof dish and cover with aluminum foil. heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring halfway through, add water, stock, milk if necessary. Once thoroughly heated, remove and serve.
